I'm very excited to share the beautiful cover of my second picture book.
The incredibly talented Sara Ugolotti has done another fabulous job.
I LOVE how the sea creatures and the sky creatures work together and blend so seamlessly in the image.
I adore Luna's dress!
And, although you can't see it very clearly on the cover, Poppa is wearing a Hawaiian shirt, which is just 'chef's kiss'!
The warm glow of sunlight infuses the colors throughout the book, so that it perfectly complements the wintery, night-time vibe of Mending the Moon, with exactly the same amount of magic and a similar cast of adorable animals.
Seeing the two covers side by side makes my heart glow like a moon shard (or a sunbeam!).
